"The National Association of Secondary School Principals supports the Academy for Educational Development's (AED) Orphan Support Pack Project, an initiative that will raise funds to provide young Kenyan children under the age of five who have been affected by AIDS with much needed health care, education and educational materials and support.

NASSP encourages its members to support the AED Orphan Support Pack Project by registering their schools to participate in fundraising efforts and service-learning activities to raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause."

The project will expand a successful pilot program which AED began in 2001."
