Help Kenyan children orphaned by AIDS and their caregivers
by providing them with much needed supplies and services to receive
proper health care, education and nutrition through the AED Orphan Support
Pack.
Your support will help AED provide packs to 1,000 Kenyan orphans, under
the age of five, whose lives have been affected by AIDS.
Each pack includes a prepaid card good for a full set of immunizations,
as well as preschool fees, weekly home visits by a trained community
mentor and a caregiver support group for one year at a cost of $100
per orphan. Other items include a school uniform, a notebook, pencil
and crayons, a "sippy cup", a bowl, a blanket, a washcloth
and soap, a ball, and materials to create a parents memory book.
When you register, an information kit containing the materials you
will need to develop a program will be mailed to you immediately.
Each AED Orphan Support Pack will help these children receive the physical,
cognitive and emotional care necessary to be connected to their past
and prepared for their future.
